Hiroic is an AI-powered hiring platform that rethinks recruitment from the very first step. Instead of jumping straight into job postings, Hiroic guides teams through a conversational, intelligent flow to define roles, align stakeholders, and reach clarity before a single candidate applies.
The core problem we set out to solve was role misalignment at the start of the hiring process. Teams often rush to write job descriptions without shared clarity, leading to vague requirements, conflicting expectations, generic postings, and wasted time. Our design challenge was to create an experience that felt approachable and collaborative while guiding teams toward concrete decisions—breaking away from the typical AI “wall of text” chat and instead clearly surfacing key questions and focus areas without reverting to a rigid form.

Rather than overwhelming users with all possible questions upfront, I designed the chat to reveal prompts progressively based on previous answers. This kept the experience feeling conversational and reduced cognitive load, while ensuring we captured comprehensive role information.
Users needed confirmation that the AI understood them correctly. I designed summary cards that appeared at key moments in the chat, displaying structured information extracted from conversational input. This built trust and gave users control to refine details before moving forward.
I designed a dedicated question component that visually separated each prompt from the surrounding responses so it couldn’t get lost in the text. This made the experience easier to scan, reduced cognitive load, and helped users quickly understand what the AI was asking them to decide.

I partnered with our research team to synthesize interviews with hiring managers, recruiters, and team leads across multiple industries, translating qualitative insights directly into UX strategy and wireframe decisions. What we found during this discovery was that the main problem with hiring today wasn’t lack of opportunity, but lack of definition around what teams actually need. From that, we focused on how to use AI to work with teams instead of against them to create specialized, accurate job descriptions and generate a full hiring package that they could use throughout the hiring process.

The most critical design challenge was creating a chat flow that felt natural while ensuring we captured all necessary information—without defaulting to the typical AI chat wall of text. I designed a structured conversational interface that used visual hierarchy and interactive elements to make questions and focus areas unmistakably clear:
Question highlighting, Structured response options, and Focused attention

Since launch, Hiroic has helped teams create more thoughtful, aligned job postings. Early user feedback highlights that the conversational interface makes a typically tedious process feel approachable, and the collaborative features have reduced back-and-forth communication around role definition.
The platform continues to evolve based on user feedback and insights gathered from product demos, with planned enhancements to the hiring package generation and team collaboration features.
